So the most ‘romantic’ day of  the year is almost upon us. Valentine’s Day. When you have been married as long as I have…. well, that’s no reason to give up, is it? (Not to self-do something for Valentine’s Day this year)

Whether you have been together 46 days or 46 years (like I have) you can delight your Valentine without  resorting to obscenely priced roses and tired boxes of chocolates. Here’s a collection of ideas that are free, low cost or an absolute splurge and all with a Nova Scotian flavour.

Free for you-Priceless for Your Love

Any activity can be romantic if you add hot chocolate or a bottle of wine, cozy blankets a warm embrace.
